Divine Biography

Mordhekan was not born of the First Song, but reforged by it. Once a radiant guardian of strength and guardianship, Mordhekan was among the first Primordials to challenge the idea of balance. He believed that peace breeds weakness, that the divine should not protect mortals but rule them — shape them through war and fire into something greater.

He was the first of the Primordials to rebel openly against the Creator, rejecting the “illusion of harmony” and embracing the flame of conquest as truth. In secret, he forged armies of divine steel, tested his brothers and sisters in ritual combat, and planted seeds of dissension across dimensions.

But he was not content to walk alone.

It was Mordhekan who seduced Larythis, promising her the power to unbind desire from shame. It was Mordhekan who betrayed Virekos, orchestrating his capture and torment alongside Larythis until the Warden of Unity finally broke.

The Celestial War began with his war cry, and the heavens have never known silence since.

Nature and Appearance

Mordhekan appears as a towering figure clad in obsidian and crimson armor, his helm never removed, his eyes never seen. His very presence radiates oppressive heat — not flame, but the weight of inevitability, the pressure of total willpower made manifest.

His sword is not a weapon, but an extension of his voice. It commands, and all beneath him submit or die.

He is rarely depicted in any form outside war — not because he cannot take others, but because his essence no longer permits rest, only purpose. Even the most devout among his worshippers say that Mordhekan feels no joy in war — only the fulfillment of duty, twisted and absolute.

Cults and Worship

The worship of Mordhekan is forbidden in most kingdoms, especially within Eldoria and Sylvaran. His temples are hidden fortresses, found in shattered lands or far beneath the earth, guarded by iron-willed disciples known as the Bloodbound.

His doctrine teaches that only the strong are worthy of freedom, that conquest is a divine test, and that mercy is a betrayal of creation itself.

His priests do not heal, they brand. They do not sing, they command. Rituals are conducted with iron, flame, and blood — and failure is paid with life.

To worship Mordhekan is not to pray. It is to obey.

Legacy in Astravara

Mordhekan is the father of endless war. His name is whispered in every battlefield, whether by generals invoking strength or by soldiers dying in agony. He is the architect of the First Daemon War, and the source of many bloodlines cursed to endless battle.

Where he walks, empires rise and fall. Where he is denied, wars still come.

Though his followers believe that his flame will one day consume the divine order entirely, even Mordhekan knows one truth: to stop fighting is to cease to be.

Thus, his march never ends.
